Digital Micro Usahawan Conference

Digital Penang recently invited me to participate in the Digital Micro Usahawan Conference, which aims to help micro usahawan establish an online presence. As a speaker at the event, I shared my knowledge on the topic of TikTok and its potential as a marketing tool for businesses. It was exciting to see a predominantly female audience of business owners in attendance.
Using social media platforms as a marketing strategy has become increasingly popular, and TikTok has gained a reputation for being particularly effective at reaching younger demographics. Its focus on short, entertaining content makes it a great platform for businesses to connect with customers in a more interactive and engaging way.
As a business owner, it’s essential to stay up to date on the latest trends and platforms, and TikTok is definitely one to watch. In addition to its ability to reach younger audiences, TikTok is also an excellent platform for showcasing products and services in a visually appealing way.
During my presentation, I emphasized the importance of authenticity and staying true to your brand on TikTok. With the proliferation of social media influencers and sponsored content, it’s crucial to be genuine and transparent with your audience. TikTok is a great platform for showcasing your brand’s personality and values, and by creating authentic and engaging content, you can build a loyal customer base that is passionate about your brand.
It’s also crucial to understand your target audience and create content that resonates with them. TikTok is all about creating relatable and entertaining content, so it’s essential to know who you’re trying to reach and what type of content they’re interested in. By understanding your audience, you can create content that speaks to them and helps you connect with them on a deeper level.
One of the things that sets TikTok apart from other social media platforms is its ability to encourage creativity and innovation. Its focus on short-form content allows businesses to get creative and try out new ideas without the pressure of creating a lengthy, polished production. This makes it a great platform for experimenting with different marketing strategies and seeing what works best for your brand.
